For more than 11 years, everyone has been able to play on RTC, a community-run Minecraft server. They encourage a welcoming and healthful atmosphere that everybody can enjoy. You can enjoy yourself whether you're playing Minecraft or just hanging out with other members of the community.

I was given free rein on the logo for RTC (formally standing for Rooster Teeth Community) as they were breaking off from their Rooster Teeth origins as most of the members have moved on from their content.

Since the server was centred around Minecraft I wanted to use those blocky elements in the design. Each letter represents a different biome in Minecraft, which was new at the time of design. The logo had to be attractive on a large scale as well as a small icon which has been successful.

The Discord banner and logo were made with a free-to-use 3D software called MagicaVoxel. This helped with keeping the blocky aesthetic of Minecraft.
