My mother's side of the family still lives in the Philippines; although she had already moved to England just after martial law was lifted; her sister(s) and brother remained and lived through these historical events.

While making this project, a presidential election was being held in the Philippines where Marcos's son ‘Bongbong’ was a candidate. Although Marcos's dictatorship has been documented there are still Filipinos who wish to ‘go back’ to martial law because to them it was the best the Philippines had ever been. They seem to forget, however, of the violations of human rights such as torture, assassinations etc, that also occurred.
